This notice adds to our Privacy Policy for residents of US states with comprehensive privacy laws — California under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, and Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and other states with equivalent statutes. Where this notice and the main policy differ, this one governs for those readers.

What You Can Ask For

Rights include access to and confirmation of processing, correction, erasure, data portability, and the right to opt out of sale, sharing, and targeted advertising; and, in several states, appealing a refusal. There is no penalty for exercising them — service, pricing and access remain identical.

Sharing for Advertising

Nothing is sold for cash. Where advertising appears on handlelane.com, advertising identifiers may nonetheless be shared with partners, and the statutory definitions of ‘sale’ and ‘sharing’ are broad enough to cover that arrangement. You may opt out — see Do Not Sell or Share My Information. We do not knowingly sell or share the data of minors under 16.

Categories and Where They Come From

Applicable categories are identifiers (IP address, cookie and device identifiers), internet or other electronic network activity (pages viewed, referring URLs, session timing on handlelane.com), and — where volunteered — an email address. Collected from your device, and from analytics or advertising vendors where those are in use.

Contact hello@handlelane.com with what you need. An opt-out can also be signalled technically, by enabling Global Privacy Control in your browser — we honour it automatically. We verify requests by replying to the sending address, meet the deadlines state law imposes, and allow an authorised agent to act on your behalf with written authorisation.
